The 20th Annual Ontario Camaro Nationals was an anniversary celebration that didn't disappoint. The 5th Gen Orange Concept Convertible arrived on Friday afternoon and for obvious reasons, it created much excitement. We kicked off the weekend with our OCC sponsored Happy Hour. After the attendees registered for the show, there was an opportunity to chat with old friends while enjoying some food and drink compliments of the club.

There were many door prizes and for the kids there was face painting (....thanks April) and a visit from Summer Santa (....thanks Lenny) with ice cream and gift bags. We had Blind Man's Racing which was a lot of fun in a brand new Cadillac CTS, thanks to Falls Chevrolet in Niagara Falls. Our banquet was wonderful with Chefs carving from hips of beef and afterward the Executive with help from the Execuettes served the OCC birthday cake with scoops of ice cream. Mr. SLP Canada, Terry "Zeke" Maxwell spoke to us as well as our dear friend Scott Settlemire. Scott even brought a video of some testing of the new "almost" production Camaros.

The participant judging went very well and over 150 ballots were submitted to decide the Top Ten Camaros in each Generation for which a four foot trophy was awarded. Click on the awards button to see who won the awards. In addition, all participants had the opportunity to have a photo taken of their car which was mounted on a commemorative photo plaque. It was a great show and we had great Camaro weather for which we are thankful. And, we are thankful to all of our sponsors who we encourage you to support. Thanks to all who volunteered to make this 20th Anniversary Celebration run smoothly. Finally, and so importantly, thanks to those of you who brought your Camaros to our show. We hope you had a good time. We would certainly like to see you again next year!

Congratulations to Sandra Gray who was the lucky participant to have her car number drawn to win the brand new 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD-3's donated by Goodyear. We are very pleased that Sandra won these tires. In addition, to being a long-time member of the OCC, she has pitched in and helped significantly putting things together for the Nationals. On top of all of that, she and her husband Steve, are now sponsors through their business Weeks hardware.
